KUCHING: Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas launched the Jualan Terus Dari Ladang (JTDL) and My Rakyat Program at Canaan Square on Thursday. He who is also the Ministry of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land And Regional Development (MANRED) said, the program is a platform to help farmers market their crops through the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) in collaboration with the Sarawak Farmers Organisation (PPNS). “This program is one of the state government’s efforts to help farmers ease the burden of those who are unable to sell their crops due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
