Going green, a new way to prosper
ALIZA Mohamad, Siti Norliah Bohari and Rozita Abdul Aziz are best of friends and part of a small group of residents at Sri Ayu Flats in Bandar Putera, Klang who grow their own vegetables, fruits and herbs in the areas surrounding the buildings.
All three women, together with other full-time homemakers at the flats, step outdoors daily to tend to the edible plants that are being grown under Laman Hijau Strata (LHS) 2020, a project that took off in March last year when the nation began observing the first of movement control orders due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases.
